Sandals Grenada
Adults-only Sandals property on Pink Gin Beach with Skypool Suites featuring private infinity pools off the bedroom, plus thatched Rondoval Cottages with private plunge pools.
Sandals Grenada is in the Jet & Swim directory because the Skypool Suites here — cantilevered penthouse infinity pools off the bedroom — were the original. Sandals first introduced the category at this property before rolling variations out elsewhere. We haven’t stayed here personally yet (it’s our next booked trip for July 2026) — the inclusion is an editorial call based on the Skypool category and the property’s Rondoval Cottages.
Sandals Grenada sits on Pink Gin Beach on the southwestern tip of the island, near St. George’s. The resort is divided into four villages — Pink Gin, Italian, South Seas, and Lover’s Hideaway — across more than 20 room categories. Two of those categories are the reason it’s in the Jet & Swim directory.
The Skypool Suites are Sandals’ signature innovation, originally introduced at this property: penthouse infinity plunge pools cantilevered off the bedroom balcony, suspended out over the ocean view. Sandals has since rolled out variations of this at other properties, but Grenada is where it started.
The Rondoval Cottages — the same thatched-roof round suite shape as the property in St. Lucia — have private plunge pools and Tranquility Soaking Tubs. The South Seas Honeymoon Butler Villas add a private pool sanctuary including a whirlpool. The Italian Swim-up Bi-level 1 Bedroom Butler Suite category brings the swim-up format to the ground floor — direct patio access to a swimming pool, plus a Tranquility Soaking Tub inside the suite.
As with all Sandals properties, this is couples-only rather than strictly adults-only — bookings require two adults, not just any two adults. The functional outcome is the same kid-free property as any adults-only Caribbean resort.
Grenada sits at the southernmost edge of the Caribbean hurricane belt, which means storm closures are rare. The island itself is sometimes called the Spice Isle for its nutmeg, cocoa, and other agricultural exports — and the property’s location puts you within reach of rainforest waterfalls, the world’s first underwater sculpture park, and St. George’s harbor town.
