Sandals Royal Curaçao sits on the Santa Barbara coast on the southeastern end of the island, about 25 minutes from Hato International Airport. The location is on a protected stretch of the ABC island chain, south of the hurricane belt — calmer water and more reliable weather than the central Caribbean destinations.

The room category mix here is unusually rich for a single property: standard Swim-Up Suites that open onto channel-style pools, Rondoval Suites (the brand’s freestanding thatched-roof round cottages with private pool sanctuaries — the same shape as the Rondovals at Sandals Grenada and Grande St. Lucian), and Seaside Bungalows positioned at the water’s edge. The double-level infinity pool with built-in swim-up bar is the heart-of-the-resort social space.

As with all Sandals properties, this is couples-only rather than strictly adults-only — bookings require two adults together — but the functional outcome is the same kid-free property as any other adults-only Caribbean resort. Eleven restaurants on property and a full slate of motorized and non-motorized water sports are included in the standard rate.
